Courage to Risk

Funded by VOCA (Victims of Crime Act) from the New Mexico Crime Victims Reparation Commission and through the Stocker Foundation. Courage to Risk (CTR) provides services to victims of violent crime, including children and adults affected by domestic violence, child abuse and sexual assault. The CTR curriculum is based on fourteen clinical objectives appropriate for survivors of violence or clients with post-traumatic stress disorder. An overview of topics covered in the clinical objectives includes: self-esteem, personal power, boundaries, communication, physical self, and belonging. We are proud to report our pre/post quantitative and qualitative evaluation data shows a significant client improvement on each clinical objective.
